Annmarie Garden In Lights, 6:00-9:00pm nightly (CLOSED Dec. 3, 4, 24, 25): Join us for Annmarie Garden In Lights, a magical holiday light experience that takes visitors on a beautiful walk through the glittering woods. As you stroll the protected path, you will be surrounded by spectacular light art and “light sculptures” depicting sea creatures, wintry wonderlands, enchanted gardens, wild animals, princesses, superheroes, and much more. Don’t forget to ask for a “Holiday I Spy” program. After your walk, warm up in the Arts Building where you will find nightly entertainment, beautiful exhibits, great shopping, and a holiday cafe! No smoking. No vaping. No pets except on Pet Night (Jan. 1). Admission (ages 3 & up): $7.00 Children 2 & under: FREE

Singperation of Christmas Carols 7:00 – 8:30 pm
Union Church in North Beach 8912 Chesapeake Av, North Beach 20714: Do you like to sing? Do you like to listen? Here’s your chance to do both. The Union Church in North Beach will host the annual Singperation featuring local choirs and talent and you and me.. All are welcome. Pat Carpenter Holiday Parade, 12:00 pm
Bay Avenue, North Beach: This festive parade draws spectators from afar! The boardwalk is lined with hundreds of people viewing the parade. The best part is when the jolly-old-fat man arrives by fire truck!
Santa & Christmas on the Beach, 1:00 – 3:00 pm
North Beach: Santa and Mrs. Claus visit with children and give them a special treat. Tell the kids to bring their wish list to share with Santa! Warm up around the campfire as you roast marshmallows!

Holiday Parade, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Fox Run Shopping Center, Prince Frederick: Join the Optimist Club of Calvert County and the Calvert County Fair Board as they herald in the holiday season with the 27th annual Prince Frederick Holiday Parade. Parade participants include school marching bands, ROTC groups, scouts, soccer and baseball teams, 4-H clubs, fire engines and, of course, the main attraction – Santa Claus.

Calvert County Parks and Recreation, Harriet E. Brown Community Center, Prince Frederick: Come join us as we decorate several types of gingerbread items. We’ll have lots of different decorations for you to create the perfect holiday delight! $3

Solomons Christmas Walk/First FREE Friday, 6:00 – 9:00 pm: Enjoy entertainment, refreshments, Santa, holiday crafts, and shopping in the museum store on both nights. Santa’s Coffee House will be open on Saturday with complimentary hot tea, coffee, hot cocoa, and holiday cookies. The museum is open free from 6 – 9 p.m. Museum members will save 20% off in the Museum Store all weekend!

Breakfast with Santa, 8 am – 12 pm or while supplies last, 755 Solomons Island Road, S : The Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad is back at home in our new building and we want to invite you and your family to enjoy a home cooked breakfast. We are serving bacon, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, hash browns, juices, milk, and coffee. Bring your camera or phone and get a picture with Santa! Admission by donation.

An Old Fashioned Christmas at the One-Room Schoolhouse, 11:00 am – 1:30 p.m.
One-Room Schoolhouse, 3080 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD: Come and celebrate an Old Fashioned Christmas in the original Port Republic One-Room Schoolhouse, which will be decorated for the holidays. Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Make popcorn/cranberry strings and Christmas stars, and help to decorate a Christmas Tree. Play some old-time games and practice writing on a slate with a slate pencil. Enjoy Christmas music and a guest flutist.
Afternoon with the Grinch, 2:00 4:00 p.m
Ruddy Duck Brewery & Grill, 13200 Dowell Road, Dowell: Join us on Sunday, December 16th for our 8th Annual Afternoon with the Grinch! Holiday Crafts in our Private Dining room available from 2-4pm. Photos with the Grinch from 2:30 to 3:45pm! Photos graciously provided by Southern Maryland Entertainment. Southern Maryland Entertainment provides an “out of the box” photo booth experience! Book them for your special event or view your photos on their website: http://www.somdentertainment.com Pictures will take place in the bar area with a blue screen. Parents are welcome to take photos of their little ones with the Grinch and will also receive a digital copy of the photo (free of charge) on the spot from Mike with Southern Maryland Entertainment! The photos from SOMD Entertainment will have a beautiful holiday background imposed to complete this holiday photo shoot! Additional photo prints will be available for purchase on their website.

Calvert County Parks and Recreation, Harriet E. Brown Community Center, Prince Frederick: We’re welcoming Santa Claus to town. We will enjoy Christmas music and have cookies and ice cream for all who attend. The highlight of the evening will be the arrival of Santa. He will be available for visits and pictures for all who attend. Don’t miss visiting with Santa and letting him know of any last-minute gifts you would like for Christmas!

Dramatic Polar Express Reading, 5:30 pm & 7:00 pm
Chesapeake Beach Railroad Museum, 4155 Mears Avenue, Chesapeake Beach: Families are invited to attend the reading of the Polar Express inside the museum. Carols and holiday crafts with sing-alongs will also be part of the night’s activities. This event is free and open to the public. There will be two readings on December 21, 2018: 5:30pm and 7pm.

Chronicles of Christmas Bus Tour, 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm
Chesapeake Beach Railroad Museum, 4155 Mears Avenue, Chesapeake Beach: Get in the holiday spirit with a ride around Chesapeake Beach to see the light displays while historians entertain with tales of holiday traditions through the years since Chesapeake Beach was founded over 100 years ago! This is a free, family-friendly event. Bus Tours are 45 minutes long. There are FOUR separate tours on December 22, 2018, at 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm
